Create a living garden in a jar

Join our expert horticulturist in his tropical garden, as he shares his green knowledge and leads guests in creating a “jarden” – a living garden in a jar!

Under the right conditions, a perfectly balanced, closed terrarium can last a lifetime, making them an eco-friendly alternative to cut flowers.

After a demonstration, and history of terrariums and how they work, guests are invited to get stuck in and get their hands dirty! Guests will be guided through each step; planting techniques, how to build each layer to contribute to the overall wellbeing of the eco-system, given inspiration on how to add embellishment, and tips on how to look after it afterwards so that the plants can thrive.

At the end of the activity, guests can present their terrariums and, as an optional competitive element, we can judge a winner and send out a prize in the post. In your pre-delivered kit will be everything you need:
