Top Food & Drink Team Building Experiences

Does your corporate group know their Albariño from their Riesling? Or are they regular visitors to all the hottest new restaurants in town? Adding a food and drink edge to your team building experience is a great way to not only bond the team over a great meal or glass of wine, but they can also learn during the process. The Fruitful team has picked out our favourites, from Japanese whisky tasting to immersive woodland dining. If you’d like to chat with the team about a food and drink team building experience then do get in touch.

A foraging walk followed by a wild food feast and forest cocktails

foraged mushrooms

For groups looking for an outdoorsy and sustainable foodie experience then this is a stellar option. Learn your wild garlic from your hogweed shoots with a team foraging experience. Guests will explore what the countryside hedgerows have to offer along with an expert forager. A leading chef will then whistle up your findings into a wild food feast inspired by the woodland that you can enjoy as a group. Accompany your dinner with botanical cocktails such as a ‘forest bloody Mary’ or a ‘blackberry rambler’.

A craft gin distillery tour and mixology masterclass

Take a tour of a local gin distillery and learn how different botanicals are crafted into everyone’s favourite tipple. With an expert mixologist, you’ll then create a range of gin cocktails, from blackberry brambles to sunset negronis – all whilst enjoying accompanying canapés.

A tour of the French regions with a Master of Wine

glass of wine and cheeseboard

There are only 400 Masters of Wine globally and so this is a special chance to have a tasting with someone of exceptional expertise. You’ll take a tour of eight classic French regions throughout the tasting, sampling different grape varieties and learning about their vineyards. The group will also enjoy a paired cheese tasting, trying the likes of reblochon, Mont d’Or and Roquefort. A great chance to taste French wines you won’t find in the supermarket.

Learn your sourdough bread from your focaccia

The group will come away from this workshop knowing how to bake consistently good bread every time! Choose from a range of styles of loaf, from focaccia to rye bread, before working those muscles during your class. This relaxed session allows for learning time whilst also getting to chat as a group. The session will be rounded off with enjoying your bready creations slathered with butter. Great British Bake Off eat your heart out.
